______________________________________________________________________________ Tera Rene

Straight out of Detroit, Mi, Tera started dancing at the young age of 2 1/2. Inspired by many different dancers and choreographers, Tera often enjoys mixing all kinds of dance together, calling it Oreo Choreo. This name came about because she is mixed, black and white, and gave herself the nick name of Oreo. Along with dancing, Tera has been singing ever since she could talk. She was apart of a singing and dancing show at Greektown casino called Velocity, a Motown version of the pop group The Pussycat Dolls in which opened for artists such as The Temptations, India Arie, LL Cool J, Busta Rymes, Gladys Night & many more. Tera is at her best on stage. She appeared on MTV's Hit TV Show, "MAKING THE BAND", making it as far as top 38 out of over 10,000 contestants. She gets a lot of joy out of teaching and discovered that when she was asked to take over the dance program at a gymnastics facility. From choreographing solos, group dances, and floor routines, she decided that she wanted to do more with dance and change the lives of dancers all over just as she had been changed. That is when she decided to begin a new dance convention called THE MOVEMENT. This dance workshop brings the inspiring dancers from "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE" right to the doorsteps of dancers all over the US. Tera hopes to spread hope, joy, encouragement, dedication, and faith to anyone who will accept it. She believes that because of all that she has already accomplished at her young age of 22, it is time to start showing everyone that every single dream you dangle in front of your heart, you can achieve. Tera has appeared on Saturday Night Live. Tera is currently touring with Charlie Wilson as one of his dancers traveling around the world. Tera does guest teaching for Bella Pointe Dance and special dance choreography for Bella Pointe Dance.
